*We are looking to hire Lead and Assistant STEAM Instructor. 

STEAM STARZ Team Member Qualifications: 

1. STEAM Education: Have a passion for STEAM education and working with students. 
2. Education: Educator with STEM/STEAM experience preferred. 
3. Experience: Experience teaching and working with students in grades preschool - 6th grade. 
4. Skills: Knowledge of STEM/STEAM subjects and content is preferred but not a requirement. Be able to bend, lift, and carry 50 pounds. 
5. Certifications: CPR, First-Aid, Mandatory Reporter is preferred. 
6. STEAM STARZ Educators: Have strong communication skills, willingness to learn new things, teamwork, leader in the classroom, problem-solver, adaptable, patience, and have a positive attitude. 
7. Location: Classes take place in the Des Moines metro. Travel to/from the locations is necessary. Reliable transportation and ability to take supplies to/from the class locations. 
8. Other requirements: Background checks, references, drug tests, or other conditions may be part of the hiring process.
